Our Story

We thought it would be appropriate to enlighten you on our backstory a bit. We were and are just two young snowboarders in love. Simply just Jonn and Chelsey. After meeting each other 18 years ago in Jackson Hole, WY, living in Mt.Hood, OR ,and finding our way to North Lake Tahoe, CA after a very tragic life experience. The mountains were and are still home to us and always will be. For no reason other than JavaHut coming onto our radar, while chasing this snow and mountain life did we get such a great opportunity. And we are proud to say we still live this dream in this beautiful community.

JavaHut has been the heartbeat of Kings Beach for over three decades. And has been owned by us for the past 13 years. We always have strived to provide top shelf products matched with exceptional customer service. With extreme thought and detail we have always gone above and beyond creating delicious treats and beverages that truly enhance your Lake Tahoe Experience. Nestled on the shores of North Lake Tahoe. JavaHut has become a destination for all. Creating a place full of love and acceptance. A place where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. And a place where you feel better leaving than you did entering. Simply just a warm space where everyone feels safe. JavaHut is our Happy Place and we are grateful to share it with all of you.
